Phil Cagle - CSHC - Tunica, MS

Phil Cagle during a morning hunt. Phil is the Manager and Director of CSHC.

Established in 2011, Cypress Slough is a first class hunting club for members and their guests and consists of 3500-4000 acres of Rice, Beans, Milo and Corn fields, along with numerous Willow Sloughs, Green Timber and Cypress duck holes. We currently have 25+ duck holes and blinds, so there are always multiple hunting options for CSHC members. In addition, when there are hard freezes in the Delta, we have parties that will hunt the Mississippi River, Tunica Cutoff and Arkabutla Lake; all big watersheds within a 30 minute drive of our clubhouse.

Included as part of your membership is access to our club house – the Twin Oaks Lodge. Twin Oaks Lodge is a 4300 square foot cypress & stone clubhouse with a fireplace, 5 bunkrooms, 1 private bedroom, a loft and 4 1/2 bathrooms. It can comfortably sleep 28-36 members and guests and has 8 flat screen TVs, a pool table, a very spacious kitchen and a washer & dryer. The Lodge also has a mudroom, a large cypress and stone barn that includes living quarters, as well as on-site storage for ATVs and boats.

We now have The Barn – which adds 3100 square feet to our camp – with 5 bedrooms and 2 baths. The 5  bedrooms are private and may be rented from year to year. The Barn has a beautiful stone fireplace, full kitchen (with ice machine), washer & dryer, as well as 6 big screen TVs. Together, The Lodge & The Barn account for over 7000 square feet and can comfortably sleep 40-45 members and guests.

At CSHC we regularly harvest Mallards, Pintails, Gadwall, Widgeon, Teal, Wood Ducks, Shovelers, Geese and Blue Bills. We also host many dove hunts for our members and offer spots to harvest deer, hogs, squirrel and predators.
